Since its Founding in 1965, the Polish Heritage of Society has sought to
give prominence to our cultural heritage and endow Polish traditions
with new life in this country. Through its stimulating
programs, the Society enhances members' understanding and enjoyment of
Polish history and the culture and values of our forefathers.

- Instrumental in erecting both the Kopernik Monument and the Kosciuszko
Statue in Center City Philadelphia
- Organized "Friends of Kosciuszko" volunteers
- Awards Scholarships
Preserves Polish Traditions
- Sponsors folk art lectures, exhibits and performances
- Celebrates holiday customs including Wigilia and Swieconka
- Sponsored the International Polish
- Folk Dance Festival at Drexel University
Stimulates Cultural Interest
- Presented Polish Poster Exhibit at
the Port of History Museum at Penn's Landing
- Sponsored Polish Film Festival and lecture series in cooperation with the
Free Library of
Philadelphia
- Sponsors the Adam Styka Annual Art Exhibit
- Organizes Annual Chopin Concert
- Hosts Polish American Authors
- Provided
support for the Joseph Conrad Conference at Drexel University in
Philadelphia
- Organized a travelling exhibit of Polish posters which
appeared at the 1996 American Council for Polish Culture Convention and later was hosted by several
ACPC affiliates
Promotes Good Fellowship
- Hosted crew and cadets
of Dar Pomorza, Polish tall ship
- Sponsors annual Polonaise Charity Ball
- Hosts receptions for distinguished visitors
